Dr. Kornél Farkas (Course and Materials Developer at AIC) has announced the publication of AI Tools and Image-based Discussion Tasks – a hands-on resource book packed with adaptable, discussion-centered activities for learners of English and other foreign languages. The content of the book invites students to collaborate in pairs or groups, using images and structured prompts to spark meaningful conversations and build essential 21st-century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and AI/digital literacy.

With thematically organized tasks and accessible guides, the book helps both teachers and students in using AI tools for creative, interactive learning. The publication of the book (Spring, 2025) signals AIC’s commitment to tailoring classroom instruction to the learning needs and preferences of 21st-century students, incorporating both AI/digital learning technologies and the principles of competency-based global citizenship education.
