Tianjin Modern Vocational Technology College (TMVTC) Delegation at AIC

At the invitation of Avicenna Holding, a four-member professional delegation from Tianjin Modern Vocational Technology College (TMVTC), China, visited Budapest from 4 to 6 December 2025.
One of the key objectives of the visit was the signing of an exclusive representation and partnership agreement with the Avicenna Group. The delegation also aimed to present and promote the Luban Workshop education and research initiative, a highly practice-oriented program proposed by TMVTC and closely aligned with current labour market demands, while seeking official Hungarian support and exploring potential Hungarian academic and industry partnerships.
As part of the visit, the delegation held meetings at the Hungarian National Assembly, the Office of the Government Commissioner for Artificial Intelligence within the Ministry of Energy, and with the Ministerial Commissioner responsible for the internationalization of higher education at the Ministry of Culture and Innovation.
Within the framework of TMVTC’s academic partner meetings, the delegation also held discussions with the Rector of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), followed by a dedicated campus visit at the university’s Buda facilities. In addition, a professional academic program was hosted by the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE).

Az Avicenna Holding meghívására 2025 december 4-6. között Budapestre látogatott a kínai Tianjin Modern Vocational Technology College (TMVTC) négyfős szakmai delegációja.
A delegáció látogatásának egyik célja volt kizárólagos képviseleti partnerségi megállapodás aláírása az Avicenna csoporttal, az intézmény által (is) proponált, a munkaerőpiac által elvárt, rendkívül gyakorlatorientált Luban Workshop képzési és kutatói tevékenységének bemutatása és népszerűsítése, hivatalos magyar támogatás megszerzése, potenciális magyar partnerek felkeresése.
Ennek keretében a delegáció látogatást tett az Országgyűlésben, az Energiaügyi Minisztérium Mesterséges Intelligenciáért Felelős Kormánybiztosi Irodájában, találkozott a KIM felsőoktatás nemzetköziesítéséért felelős miniszteri biztosával.
A TMVTC oktatási partnertalálkozóinak keretében a delegációval tárgyalt a Magyar Agrár és Élettudományi Egyetem rektora, majd a MATE önálló kampuszlátogatást is biztosított budai létesítményében, illetve szakmai programot nyújtott az Eötvös Lóránd Tudományegyetem (ELTE) Mesterséges Intelligencia Tanszéke.
