Avicenna International College Forms Strategic Sister-School Partnership with Leading Chinese High School
On July 2, Avicenna International College (AIC) proudly entered into a sister-school partnership with Chongqing Nankai Liangjiang Secondary School during a signing ceremony held at the Chongqing Foreign Affairs Building.
The agreement was signed by AIC President Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini and Principal Yang Huayue of Nankai Liangjiang, in the presence of high-ranking officials from the Chongqing Municipal Government and the Honorable Consul General of Hungary, Mr. Balint Czegel.
Selection of the location for this ceremony and the level of attendance by high ranking officials signals the value and importance of this cooperation for both countries. AIC has been recently selected as a model school for AI-integrated education in Hungary, which shows the school’s strategic significance in the Hungarian Government’s curricular innovation and AI expansion project.
The new partnership with Chongqing Nankai Liangjiang Secondary School marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at enriching the educational experiences of students and teachers in both countries.
The partnership is built on shared goals in advancing 21st century education, including AI-integrated curricula, cultural exchange, and collaborative innovation. The schools will engage in curriculum co-construction, interdisciplinary project-based learning, and academic research in areas such as language and biochemistry teaching.
Student and teacher exchange programs will also support intercultural understanding and personal growth. This alliance reinforces AIC’s commitment to fostering international cooperation and meaningful global learning experiences for future generations.
The Principal, Vice Principal and the Director of International Department of the Chongqing Nankai Liangjiang Secondary School, explained the details of their education system to the President of AIC. In return, Dr. Shahrokh MirzaHosseini explained the unique “AIC AI-integrated Modular Hybrid Education System” which was very much welcomed by the staff and teachers.
Later in a visit to “Harbin Institute of Technology, Chongqing Research Center, Dr. Yan Bing, the Vice President of the center, ensured Dr. MirzaHosseini of their cooperation at high school level for the development of AI systems at AIC and training of AIC students in China and in Budapest.
