Avicenna International College held its first School Camp at the magnificent surroundings of the soft range of Pilis mountains in Csattogó Völgy at Verőce on 4.-5. September. 2023. All the bilingual high school students, along with their teachers, traveled by train from Nyugati Railway station to Verőce where within a 15 mins walk in a lovely forest path, they reached the campsite. The AIC management has decided to give a special spin to the start of the year and organise team building in a very different way. The scenery for last year’s team building was the Pilis mountains when we went on hiking for the whole day. This time around it had to be a bit different, so we thought of renting two dragon boats and headed to the Danube for rowing.

Environmental Changes for Sustainable Schools This course regarding environmental sustainability education at schools took place in the middle of summer, and as such it was a natural choice since we are about to lunch our Eco-school application. The training took place in one of the two headquarter buildings of Europass Academy in central Florence. CYBERBULLYING When we first arrived, our Spanish trainer, Manolo, warmly welcomed us and introduced himself and then asked each participant to briefly introduce himself or herself. Participants’ countries were Poland, Hungary and Croatia. We were introduced to a platform called Padlet where the timetable and the Info Pack were uploaded which we had received before our mobility to get familiar with what we were going to see and do.
