As an initiative towards the end of this year Avicenna International College joined the Shoebox Action, a donating charity widespread known in Hungary and Europe around Christmas via the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta.
Several boxes full of gifts prepared by the AIC students and stuff were delivered by the AIC van to a collection point in the 14th District. The gifts were received by home coordinators who will distribute them among the children of disadvantaged domestic large families and mothers raising their offspring alone.
We hope this noble contribution to this cause bettered ourselves and our community to convey the real meaning of Christmas and humanitarian care to those in need.
